WOW WOW WOW...just...WOW! What, did you order up the elements for a perfect picture? VERY NICE! This clock with its amazing shape and colors is a real knock-out! The Quays in the bg are so cool that they are actually hogging the spotlight! What an amazing background of beautiful stuff to look at, over a beautiful bay and under a soft-grey cloud-filled sky. YUMMY! I wonder if you have any versions with shallower dof...just enough to get my attention off that jaw-dropping Quay? Only curious, I adore this picture! It's just fun to see how an image can be so different with various dof. :)

Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my green series, I'm so glad you enjoyed them. Also, I'm delighted that your stand-out favorite was my first PiP, which is one of my personal favorites too...and a reminder to me that just because a camera is a super-zoom p&s, it is more about the person behind the camera than the camera itself. It's an older picture but who cares... and I was so happy to have the excuse to put it in the limelight of my insets. How nice it feels that you and so many love that picture because it makes me feel so good! :)

Hope you have a wonderful day my friend! :)

A different view of the tower here Keith. This little tower in the foreground matches the Spinnaker behind too -very clever and well see here.

Two splendid shots. This one is particularly outstanding. I love the composition, the juxtaposition of the Tide clock and the tower. Impressive stuff.

Thank you all very much................this shot has been done by hundreds of people, so it's not very original, but I still like it! Then again, I suppose you could say the same for most images!

The tide clock tower looks interesting. I've never seen such a tower before. It's a great composition with the Emirates Spinnaker Tower in the background.

The colours of the town in the background blend so well with the hues of sea and sky.The unique clock is perfectly placed so that the tower in the background is clearly visible. A very well composed shot!
