Captured at WWT Arundel. My first photo of one of these beautiful little birds.

Best viewed large, on black. Thank you.

Please see previous image for full camouflage version!

So beautiful Keith!! I have never seen one and I can see how it would be easily missed. Well done for spotted it.

It's a beautiful bird. I've seen it but never managed to photograph it. And here are you with two outstanding shots. If I look in the mirror I'll find I've turned green.

Frustratingly, I have seen on of these in my garden on one of my sycamore trees for the past two years running. Usually from an upstairs window! I've never managed to get a shot of it as opening the back door or window spooks it!

Sorry to make you jealous Jean.........but pleased you like it.

Thank you folks. I'm really pleased that you like this one.............a shot I've been after for ages!

This year's target is a Kingfisher...................unlikely, but I can dream :-))

They can run just as fast downwards as well as upwards...........that's the other reason for the rear-facing claw!

Glad you like it Wilhelm..........thank you.

Excellent couple of captures Keith, heard one of them high in a local tree last year, took a chance with the pocket point and shoot pointed in the general direction and just managed to get it, not clear, but just to prove it was a Treecreeper. They can move quickly!

Thanks very much Roger! Glad you like them.

Yes, they're very difficult to get a shot of.........I've been trying for ages and this is my first.

That's wonderful. I have a few shot of them but most are fails and none as well lit as this one. I think you should get 3 stars for this not just one

Thanks Colin. It didn't seem to notice us for a while............and when it did, it scarpered very quickly! Glad you like it.............I was dead chuffed myself!
