"Something that Used to be Something Else"

This "duck perch" use to be a big log. Mr. and Mrs. Hooded Merganser are enjoying a rest there. They were about 200 feet (61 meters) away from me so I used my big 100-300mm lens for this shot without my tripod.

~ Looks best BIG ~

I guess that if we can use wood to building structures, the ducks should enjoy it as well.

A lovely shot Karen. Great reflections. Something that used to be something else, - yep that just about sums it up for this pair - I guess they used to be friends but now they can't even look at each other! Lol!! A great, well matched track too

Like Mick I thought, for a second, it was that crocodile back again :-))) A super shot and a spot-on musical match for 'Sight and Sound'. Not heard this one before. Liking it already! A faved entry to our Group. Cheers for posting, Karen.

Thanks, Roger. Our resident crocodile is somewhat of a shapeshifter. Sometimes she's a croc and sometimes she's just a log. ;)
