Seaside Dereliction,

This was the site of Royal Pier Hotel Weston-super Mare, which was destroyed by fire in 2010 and eventually demolished by the local council, sadly this prime site is still undeveloped to this day.
The walkway forms a part of the walk from the derelict Birnbeck around the Marine lake and onto the re-developed Knightstone Pier and harbour. (See location map)

Graffiti artists have been busy and actually brightens up a very drab area.

Thank you, Rosa, from memory it was already closed and inhabited by an undesirable element when a fire occurred in 2009, but the second fire in 2010 proved fatal.
