Thank you Gudrun, Lkie you I have a fascination with the tides which are open to the south westerly swell and are widely regarded as a formidable stretch of water. sadly however the tides can cause flooding especially at times of heavy rain.

Nice capture Roger; the scenario I recall most from Porlock is the testing drive up 'that hill' back in the '50s. The days when locals came out to watch with some glee as the old cars attempted the hill climb and passengers got out to help with a push!
