I'm so glad you enjoyed them! You know, it's funny...those pictures were taken at a time when I was increasingly annoyed at my camera--it was a point and shoot and I'd finally gotten to the point that I really understood why a proper DSLR and dedicated macro lens is undeniably better than a lower-end, smaller sensor camera. Not that long after those pictures I put my foot down and insisted on getting a new camera...which is when I got my Canon 5D MkII. I then put my nose in the air about every picture I'd taken with my previous camera and hated all of them. Time passes. Years go by. And FINALLY I was able to look at those pictures without seeing their faults, and instead, I could look at them and see that they were just fine! Isn't it funny how we can be so opinionated and unfair about something like that? Heh, now I happily take pictures with my phone and I even have another point-and-shoot camera...though, lol, the Sony DSC-RX10M4 is a VASTLY better camera!
Have a lovely weekend and thanks again for making my day with your visits! :)
Christa1004 club has replied to Janet Brien clubWhen I saw your album about the Upper Klamath Lake it caught my attention (*) and I really love the different views. As I didn't know anything about your photographic observations and contemplations, I had no critical mind (that you had with your photos and because of your camera). I simply noted the beauty of the site, the bright colors, the good framing... this is what I appreciated - while you, you looked rather at the technical aspect...
(*) in the natural health world a lot of attention is given to this place because it’s home to a particular type of blue green algae growing only at Klamath and which is supposed to have special health benefits.
Have a nice Sunday, Janet.
