Thank you very much Andy. I am used to seeing the beautiful beaches deserted, but I think it is a popular beach for surfing, body boarding etc. It is a lovely long beach though so plenty of room for everyone

Thank you very much Doug. It never fails to amaze me that the beautiful beaches in Scotland are most empty, although I am not complaining! This one was a little busier than most, but it may be because it is used by surfers and bodyboarders. Still there were not tha many people there

Yes it was nice to see so much green in the landscape. Here the grass is really dry and badly in need of some rain.

Thank you very much. :-)) Yes it is a long way! I would like to go back to the area but it is a long drive. We are in Somerset and although we stopped off in Castle Douglas for a week before going to Lybster the journey home was long. Fortunately the driving conditions and weather were good, but you can't always rely on that, can you?
