Herzlichen Dank, Tanja! Knackig kalt war's dort- ist nur 225km von Murmansk weg, aber über 1800 km von Oslo;-) Längere Zeit wollte ich dort nicht unbedingt zubringen...

Besten Dank, Uli! Nein, Kirkenes ist Wendepunkt der Hurtigrute, weiter geht's da nicht. Ich glaube auch nicht, dass Murmansk besonders attraktiv ist- verrottende Atom-U-Boote etc.;-)

Thanks, Esther! There are a lot of Russian trawlers in Kirkenes, working on those rusty wrecks must be the hardest of all- the modern Norwegian boats look comfortable in comparison.

Thanks a lot, Diane! There was only very little ice in the fjord but there was that lovely fog over the water which comes from the temperature difference between water and air.
