Off we go into the wild blue yonder, Sailing by, high in the sky...

Off we go into the wild blue yonder, Sailing by, high in the sky...
About 10 minutes after we left the house, we heard a small plane fly overhead and then we heard a very strange sound. Both of us looked at each other and said, "That sounded bad..." "...Yeah, like the engine was stalling..." But we didn't hear anything else as we continued walking. Then Steve pointed and exclaimed, "LOOK!!! SKYDIVERS!!" Three skydivers were sailing happily through the sky, drifting slowly down to the earth towards a large field near a farm-owned airstrip. I managed to get pictures of two of them and then a couple of minutes later the plane came flying overhead and I got pictures of that too! :D YAY!!!

The words I chose are part of the U.S. Airforce song, and of course the actual lyrics don't work, so I changed them to fit! :D If you're interested, here is a page about the song with the proper lyrics! :) Wikipedia: The U.S. Air Force Song and you can hear it at this link: YouTube: The US Airforce Song

lol, just today we were talking about how jumping out of a plane does not kill you.. it's the hitting the ground that does..
