I had doubts immediately after I posted it.
But I've spent all my life trying to be nice to everybody by not voicing my opinions on such matters, so after the stupidity of selfish anti-vaxxers and now the covid -19 deniers and half-witted non mask-wearers and ravers (raving lunatics the lot of them in my book!), I have had enough of being nice to these w.....s!

... Covid-deniers and mask-refusers -- oh, you got them in Europe too? I thought it was a bunch of misguided right-wing Trumpian enthusiasts here; strictly as a USA phenomenon. We got science deniers and history re-writers too. Misinformation, unsubstantiated concepts, fringe nobodys, non-facts all get spun into a dark symbiotic cycle of hysteria by bad journalism and internet availability.

I worry that if (I hope when and soon) a vaccine is found, there will be too many anti-social anti-vaxxers to make it effectve. These lunatics will have to be taken out and shot to save mankind. There will be a book and a film on these lines before too long. That is if the infrastructure to make films is still in place!

Some things in homeopathy works... I have a friend who was a general medecine doctor and now she treats herself with homeopathy and it works... after it is plants!

I don't believe it for an instant, Isabel. Just as I don't believe burying a cow's horn in a vineyard as part of 'bio-dynamic' practices makes any difference to the wine at all. What does make a difference to the quality of the 'bio-dynamic' wine is the overall care and dilligence indicated by such attention to detail!

In the same way as you, I couldn't post late Thursday (England time). Reason is because posting is 'time restricted' to only Friday. Unfortunately this does not account for different time zones around the world, as I believe it is done manually.

Hi Andy, an over-the-top fence and gate for a place such as this I would have thought but I have to admit that its a cracker.

Strange you have had such problems with the group. I have been away for a week so have no experience of it going wrong. I do know that they had a problem with too many people posting outside the Friday limit but I always understood that it was open sometime on Thursday and also till late Saturday to cater for time differences of Friday around the World. I also know about the top three max limit. As you say -maybe a glitch somewhere!

Hmm, I noticed that quite a few people left the group and immediately rejoined but didn't know the reason until now. As I have understood from Steve, the group is open when he or George from down under post their fences and it is closed once the Stop-sign is put up on Saturday morning European time.

People who choose to treat themselves with homeopathy are not hurting anyone (except maybe themselves, if your snake-oil theory is correct). Antivaxers and no maskers are a whole different kind of kettle and are responsible for people getting sick and even dying. As far as I am concerned people can have all the freedom of choice they want, but only as long as they are not causing other people harm.

I once knew someone with a big medical bag full of "medicines" that had belonged to someone in her family. I don't recall whether or not she subscribed to that method of treatment. I think it's dangerous when they're trying to treat something that could actually be cured with real medicine and might kill them if they rely on medieval potions. But, unless it's for a child, best wishes to them. Anyway, that's a terrific gate and nicely photographed.
