La Sierra de La Cabrera. The weather did turn for the worse later and I got caught in a snow shower in a t-shirt!
Granite scenery. The eastern half of the sierra from the summit of Cancho Gordo.
Sight and sound, Sorry - it is 13 minutes long. But it is a real fave of mine.

Andy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubNo volcanic activity above ground but these rocks were formed below ground and with much of the same immense heat and elemental force.
Andy Rodker club has replied to John FitzGerald clubIt's strange - on some visits I get the impression of vast vistas but the panorama shots come out as hazy nothings and yet on days such as this, I'm sheltering from a howling gale in a t-shirt (the forecast was for balmy weather) and getting the camera out for a quick point-in-a-vaguely-promising direction while trying to wipe the snot from my face and stop my rucksack (and me!) from flying over the edge!
Such is life!

Well worth a cold soaking (easy for me to say). Brilliantly captured Andy!!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubI really like this! (especially the sky!)
The different elements make a real story, of which a lot of us are very familiar!
And it is unusually clear into the distance too. Must be cold!
Great composition
Best Wishes,
Peter
