Blue rope. Path to the beach at high tide. Porthtowan, Cornwall

If you follow this path down to where it meets the cliff face ahead, you can then be guided by the blue rope (more easily visible on large) down the steep slope to the beach. It's much easier than it looks but not for the fainthearted!
At low tide you simply walk round the headland!
My 200th photo on ipernity. That equates to just over one a day. More than I thought. I hope to upload 1,000s eventually!! :o)

Thank you Pam. In some ways the way back up is easier as you can pull up on the rope. Slightly riskier going down as the rope is there for balance only. Thank you for the congrats! Have a good week!

You're quite right, Diane. In my notes I missed a word (now corrected). Much better as 'more easily seen on large'.
Yes, I was so delighted with the path when I first came across it that I went up and down repeatedly!

My most common mistake is to type three or four long sentences without looking up at the screen and then find that I have either typed nothing at all because the cursor had gone on its hols to another part of he system and hadn't returned, or I have typed the lot in capital letters! GRRR!
