The Wonders of Mallorca: Natures Show
After a long warm day at Deia we are treated to one of nature’s wonders in the late evening. This taken from our hotel looking across the bay at Port de Sóller. The PiP is one of the many others I took at the same time, all hand-held?, and shows the captured lightning streak but unfortunately a blurred foreground.

Ah yes, I noticed that just after I had taken them -I think? On the other hand, I might simply have left it low in order to use a slower shutter speed to try and capture the lightning as seen in the PiP shot. I have a feeling that I had my mono-pod with me at that time which explains the quality of this one despite the long 1.3 sec exposure. - Anyway -glad you liked em.

Hi again Judite. We picked the hotel for its unique wonderful location. these photos where actually taken form the front hotel balcony not our own. A wonderful night of natural fireworks here, quite unknown to us in the North of the UK.

Thanks Rosa and glad you enjoyed this one. yes our hotel was in a great place. this taken from the hotel 'cafe' veranda overlooking the sea. Our own small balcony was more limiting :)
