SF Castro contradiction (1229)

The Human Rights Campaign (the storefront on the right) is famous for trying to downplay the sexuality of those gay folk (particularly men) who started gay liberation with a strong emphasis on liberation from rigidly heterosexual definitions of sexual expression. So, it was interesting to see that they're next to a nail care shop that clearly is making a pun about sexuality.

Unrelated point: note that one of the windows on the upper story at HRC is not an actual window, but a Trompe-l'œil. I didn't notice that till processing the photo, so didn't get the detail, though I imagine it is portraying Harvey Milk given that HRC is in the storefront that was his camera store.
