Libertybus 1714 (J 122014) entering Liberation Station, St. Helier - 6 Aug 2019 (P1030712)

Tuesday 6 August 2019 – The main bus station (Liberation Station) in St. Helier was opened in 2007 it can however only accommodate vehicles up to 3.5 metres high. This photograph shows the entrance which clearly has been caught be something higher than that!

In the photograph is Libertybus 1714 (J 122014) one of 33 Optare Solos new in January 2013 at the time that CT Plus Jersey Limited assumed the contract to operate the public bus network on the Channel Island of Jersey. CT Plus Jersey, trading as Libertybus, is part of the London based HCT Group. Note the Public Vehicle Plate (PSV Char-a-Banc) carried on the rear which is issued by the licensing authorities for the States of Jersey.
