Entrance to Liberation Station, St. Helier - 6 Aug 2019 (P1030672)

Tuesday 6 August 2019 – The main bus station (Liberation Station) in St. Helier was opened in 2007 it can however only accommodate vehicles up to 3.5 metres high. This photograph shows the entrance which clearly has been caught be something higher than that!

Two Optare Solos and a former Connex SC Coachbuilders (Caetano) Slimbus bodied Dennis Dart are parked in the layover bays. Note the Public Vehicle Plate (PSV Char-a-Banc) carried on the rear of the vehicles is issued by the licensing authorities for the States of Jersey.

CT Plus Jersey Limited (trading as Libertybus) is part of the London based HCT Group. The company assumed the contract to operate the public bus network on Jersey in January 2013 which had previously been worked by Connex Transport Jersey Limited.
