Saturday 4 May 2019 (0954) – Two National Holidays Setra S416 GT-HD coaches seen awaiting clientele outside the Royal Hotel in Ferensway, Hull. They were destined for a day out to Beverley, York and Lincoln. The leading coach is 539 (NH13 KWH) new in March 2013.

The hotel opened around 1851 as part of the adjoining Paragon railway station and was named The Station Hotel. In 1853 Queen Victoria, her family and entourage stayed at the hotel and the name The Royal Station Hotel was adopted although the ‘Station’ aspect was later dropped.
