Folder: Buses, coaches, trams by place/area (UK)

The two dominant bus operators in the city are Stagecoach in Hull (licensed as Lincolnshire Road Car Company) and East Yorkshire (now part of the Go-Ahead Group).

In front of that is a Stagecoach in Hull Alexander ALX400 bodied vehicle.

Thursday 2 May 2019 (1835) – In 1902 Hull Corporation was granted a licence under the Telegraph Act to own and operate its own telephone system. A number of other municipalities were granted similar licences but gradually these were all taken over by Post Office Telephones/British Telecom. Hull’s system has remained independent of those and throughout its time the telephone kiosks were painted differently from the red otherwise found throughout Britain. Two of the traditional kiosks in their unique colour stand together outside the headquarters of KCOM in Carr Lane. Passing by in the background is Stagecoach in Hull 18042 (MX53 FMG), a Transbus built President bodied Trident new in September 2003.
