These buses have a seating capacity of 33 plus 12 standees which was sometimes inadequate on the services popular with visiting holidaymakers. It probably drives the resident travellers mad.

Wednesday 7 August 2019 – A view looking east from Fort Regent in St. Helier featuring a Libertybus Optare Solo heading into town. There are very few high rise buildings on Jersey, in fact the four in the distance might be the only ones that are higher than some of the newer bank buildings which have about six or so floors. Our tour guide told us that the four blocks are the equivalent of council owned properties and the tenants have their rent charge deducted from their wages at source.
The bus is passing the States of Jersey Police Headquarters building - not the one used by Jim Bergerac though!
