Friday 9 August 2019 – Waverley Coaches 1 (J 51771), a Wadham Stringer Vanguard bodied Leyland Swift new in March 1989, seen at St. Matthew’s Church also known as the Glass Church. In 1934 Florence Boot, the wife of Jesse Boot the founder of Boot’s the Chemists, commissioned an extensive renovation of the church in memory of her late husband. Many of the interior features including the font, the altar rail, cross and pillars were designed by the French glass designer René Lalique.
