Bike Netherlands/ Naarden

The old town hall of Naarden from 1601 is an example of the Dutch Renaissance style. The two-storey gable is characteristic. The town hall is used for conferences, weddings and cultural activities.
The ground floor, the hall and the ships room are currently used as a wedding hall.

The Schepenkamer of the oak wedding hall has been in use for over 400 years, originally as a courtroom. The room is finished with oak wood. The beams were sawn from oaks, which originate from the long past jungle of the Gooi.
