Bike Netherlands/ Montfoort 2xPiP

The Grote Sint-Janskerk is a 15th century Catholic church dedicated to the evangelist John. The church has been Protestant since the Reformation.
The original building was rebuilt around the 15th century into a single nave church in Dutch Gothic style.
On 28 March 1629 the church was completely destroyed by lightning, the repairs and reconstruction lasted until 1634.
