I'm always fascinated by stained glass.
Today stained glass is primarily used for the production of coloured windows with pictorial representations.
The glass painting has a special value in the painting, no other kind of painting has such a high luminosity of the colors and such a large brightness differences to show as a transparent glass picture shows. The splendour of the colours creates a mystical to solemn atmosphere, which is why it is mainly used in the sacral area. As a part of large complete works, stained glass is used in the service of architecture.
