IJsselstein was founded as a settlement in the area of IJsselstein Castle, which was first mentioned in 1279.
The village probably received its town charter between 1331 and 1360. In 1390 the town walls were built.

Diese Idee, bunte Regenschirme aufzuhängen, scheint global zu sein. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass sie in der Türkei eine Menge davon machen - es ist nicht nur attraktiv anzusehen -, leuchtende Farben, sondern auch sehr gut, um denjenigen Schatten zu spenden, die darunter gehen oder sitzen
