Bike Netherlands/ Texel 1x PiP

In almost endless dunes of Texel
A dune area may consist of one or more rows of dunes. A large part of the coast of the southeastern North Sea consists of dune areas. These dunes form a natural form of coastal protection.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry came to mind when I saw these enormous heaps of sand:

The goods of the world glide through our fingers like the sand of the dunes.

Ja, so viele Dünen gibt es in meiner Nähe. Sie schützen die Küste vor Erosion, obwohl sie in Zeiten starker Stürme tendenziell etwas nachlassen. Es gibt viele Leute, die herauskommen und die Dünen mit Sand und Gras auffüllen. Dies ist ein schönes Panorama dieser Dünen von Texel.

A lovely pano shot Aschi...................stark but beautiful. The shot in the PiP is especially good. I really like the contrast between the white sand and the dark grasses.
