Thanks for this Gordon. A path I walk often and a view that I usually take nearer the fence, which is one of my classic fences for the HFF group Great that you enjoyed it. Slightly warmer -1.5with grey low cloud this morning with the prospect of getting warmer.

Beautiful light in this lovely snowy scene, Herb. In our summer heat, temperatures of -6 C seem hard to imagine.

George, I know you have explored and worked in far colder weather conditions than this but I get you - with temps up in the high 30's this weather and snow must look pretty welcoming. Cheers for the call.

Another lovely shot Herb, down the road in Wigan its already turning to mush and mud.... I haven't bothered to go out because we haven't had the sunlight to go with the cold. This looks tremendous though

Glorious light coming through the trees in this fantastic shot Herb!

It amazes me how a little snow transforms a landscape........it looks really beautiful there. Glad you enjoyed it your walk and well done on getting this excellent shot..!!

We actually had some snow yesterday..........around a 1cm deep :-))) It didn't last very long, but it's very cold here at the moment minus 6 overnight, which is very unusual down here!

These local paths really come into their own with a little snow and sun (with a bit of moody mist too). Always a great pleasure to venture out in and and try to capture what I see and feel. Looks like I succeeded here .

I know that your weather is nearly always a few degrees higher than ours and dryer too with sunshine but yes, you can have days like this too.
