Tea dance
We are at Rochdale Town Hall and as you can see, dancing can be a serious business :) A first time for us here in the fabulous old town hall of our neighbouring town Rochdale. We are in the great hall at the start of this afternoon dance accompanied later by drinks and small cakes. The hall was soon to get much fuller. The PiP shows from almost the same spot to the opposite corner and shows a giant mural depicting the signing of the Magda Carta by King John in 1215. Another PiP shows the incredible roof.
Rochdale Town Hall is a Victorian-era municipal building in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England. It is "widely recognised as being one of the finest municipal buildings in the country", and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.

It great to see every one enjoying themselves on the dance floor and I hope your and your wife had a lovely afternoon.
I'm not a dance myself........but I'd be quite happy with the tea and cakes and to watch everyone else!
