Modern cruise ship atrium
With multiple fences here, our eyes are assaulted with many points of interest. I am actually stood on the circular dance floor at the bottom of this six floor masterpiece of design. To the right, in gold, one of the two lifts, whisk people up to the many balconies which lead off to café’s, swimming pools cabins etc. Just below the three fenced central circular mini balconies here, is a spectacular golden railed staircase. The atrium itself is completely circular to its full height. See Pips.
I wish you all, a great weekend, Herb
(Ps the Ship is the ‘Marella Discovery’, formerly the ‘Royal Caribbean’ Splendour of the Seas.)
As usual, best viewed full screen on black.

Kaleidoscope
It can be a colourful world. Without the figure this could be looking up or down a number of floors. In fact it is only someone's idea of brightening up a snack eating area on board the Cruise ship: Marella Discovery. Just below each 'window here is a personal eating cubicle with table and chairs.
Enjoy full size. PiP

Anybody for a drink?
The rather splendid Art Deco cocktail bar of Morecambe's Midland Hotel here. There are also splendid views of the sea too from these windows but with a centre of attraction like this, who needs views?

Art Deco fence
An unusual view of the stairway and fences of the newly refurbished Midland Hotel in Morecambe. This historic 1933 hotel stands on the seafront with the convex side facing the sea. It was refurbished and opened in 2008 and will shortly be joined here by a new Northern ‘Eden Project’.
More Info . Needs full screen.
I wish you all, a great weekend, Herb
The Green Knight at Pickering
Taken inside Pickering station, now used as the terminus of the, 'North York Moors' historical trust line.
The residual steam and smoke here combining to give a nostalgic feeling of the age of steam.

" Essentially a tender version of the Standard 4 Tank like 80135 and 80136, the 4-6-0 version of the British Railways Standard 4 design was intended for general passenger and freight use on lines where the usual "Black Five" and similar locomotives would be too large or heavy. 80 examples were built between 1951 and 1957 and were allocated to the London Midland, Western and Southern regions.
75029 was built in 1954 and was decidedly mobile during her service life, being allocated to depots across the Western region including Reading, Oxford and Swindon, with a stint in Wales at Machynlleth and Croes Newydd sheds in the early to mid sixties.
Painted in British Railways' Brunswick Green livery used on passenger engines, "The Green Knight" has been a stalwart of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, including being passed to work to Whitby and Battersby on the national network. A crack in the firebox was identified in 2015 and she is currently awaiting attention. " NYMR
St Nonna's church, Altanun
A beautiful 15th century church full of carvings and history. Not to be missed in this equally beautiful village of Altarnun, Cornwall.

And the rhythm goes on and on......
Havana is a city of music, as is the whole of Cuba I think. Here the sounds of the Rhumba rings true and clear and nothing puts such musicians off, even the passing of an interesting figure perhaps!

Up or down Madam?
Are we looking up or down?
A super charged lift, whisk these holiday makers to their rooms or reception area in this high-rise hotel here in Fuengirola. These lifts and the large open space area are in fact located inside (not outside) the Hotel Yaramar. To answer my own question - we are looking down!

Hope: The famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
** HERE IS HOPING THAT WE CAN GET BACK TO SHARING WITH OUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COMMUNITIES SOON! **
A dull wet windy day at Blackpool can be made quite bright. Here we have an insight into one of my other hobbies (Ballroom dancing) as we see the dancers take to the floor on this Monday afternoon tea-dance. In the background, we can spot the famous rising Wurlitzer organ.
