HFF ~ Reeth Swing Bridge
Our walk around this very pleasant Swaledale village led us over this suspension bridge over the River Swale. It still has this old name after the original 1920’s bridge was destroyed by a flood in 2000. It was said that children could get it to swing from side to side by pulling the supporting wires and throwing their weight around. I think this one is somewhat more solid.

Wonderful and interesting composition
I think there is a lot of mileage in the story of the swinging bridge. From what I can see of the design there is likely to be only one frequency of resonance, so once they find it, they are away!!
