That wait was absolutely worth it. I love that boat on the silver horizon!

I reckoned I was really lucky with that Eva, but as you know, we sometimes help luck along -in this case by a rather long wait. Very happy that you approved my friend.

Moody or what? The sky is just amazing.........and threatening. The light along the horizon is gorgeous and waiting for the ship to hit the light reflected on the water was a masterstroke Herb!

The really dark and foreboding sea makes the shot really special..............it adds a sense of menace to the whole image.

Hi Keith - almost wanted to put this in my 'Moody landscape' album after seeing your comment before realising it was not a landscape! Sometimes we have a feel as to what will make a picture. The chance of that small very distinctive boat being silhouetted in that late shaft of horizon sunlight was small, but perseverance paid off. Very happy that you too approved of this.
