1. What's a tag?

Tags are similar to labels providing information about the content of a doc. They can take the form of:

- Words or phrases (keyword tags),
- Names of members (member tags)
- Geographical locations (geotags).

So, for instance, you can indicate who is the member on a photo and give additional information such as "birthday", "summer holidays", "Madrid" etc.
Tags are useful for search and exploration of docs. A click on the member tag "Lisa B" and you have access to everything concerning Lisa B.: Photos, videos, posts, audio, etc.

2. Adding a member tag

To add a member tag, the member must be part of your network:

1 - Display the document (or post) and click on "Add a member" (in the right column)
2 - Type the first letters of the member's user name and select the corresponding name that comes up
3 - If it's a photo a frame will appear on the doc. Put it in the right place and confirm (you can adjust its size by pulling on the handles).

TIP: Don't hesitate to add member tags to your documents and posts or those of others (if they permit it): The member you have tagged will be notified that a document (or post) concerns him/her, so do use them wisely :-)

3. What's a geotag?

A geotag allows you to indicate the geographical location of your docs by placing them directly on the world map.

Geotags are an amazing way to discover the world through your docs and those of others. They allow you to travel from your armchair!

And of course, with geotags, you will never forget where a photo was taken :)

Geotags are created using the DocManager.

4. Are all my tags visible to other members?

It depends on the documents and posts with which they are associated. A tag added to private content won't be visible to anyone, a tag added to content shared with Family will only be visible to members of your Family network, and so on.

5. Add a keyword tag

Keyword tags can be added:

- When uploading your documents or writing a post
- On the page of a doc or post (in the right column)
- Using All-in-One editing
- With the DocManager (for tagging several docs at once)

TIP: You can add a number of tags during the same operation, separating them with a space. They will be recorded separately. If you want to add a phrase, use quotation marks (e.g. "skiing holidays").

6. What is the geopoint?

The geopoint shows your network where you are in the world.
Go to preferences / and enter your address (but if you want to keep a little mystery, only give the country and the city).
