Absolutely marvelous! It will always boggle my mind that these birds, as beautiful as they are, are actually pests and annoying to residents because they are so messy and loud! I say, send them all over here!

Thanks, Janet. I don't think that many people actually consider them as pests, but they do tend to be gangsters and chase other birds away from food if they're being fed. That said, they have very real individual "personalities" and our neighbours have several regular visitors.

Yes, I see from my bird book that they were introduced to the Perth area. Yet another example of things now being where they weren't, going feral and causing problems.
