In the "Water Gardens"

In the "Water Gardens"
The middle of our town has a park with a lake, known as the "Water Gardens". It is here most of the thousands of fruit bats have taken residence in the trees, with resulting damage. HFF.

Explored.

A fine view of a fine fence with a fine mess behind it. All very well composed, George.
A real shame about the trees and unless the laws have changed Down Under it is illegal to shout at flying foxes or to cause them harm.
Meanwhile, HFF to you and all the best for a pleasant weekend.

They are indeed listed as "Threatened", Neil. The good news in the past few days is that the local Council has been given permission to try to disperse the colony (which typically involves lots of loud noise and smoke).

Many thanks for your comments and faves everyone. As I replied (above to Polyrus), The bats are listed as "Threatened" (because of total population decline). The good news in the past few days is that the local Council has been given permission to try to disperse or move this colony (which typically involves lots of loud noise and smoke).
