Point and click...

...for the monkey business! In 2010 I first time participated onto online photography group where the goal was to take and upload one picture per every day during a year. Because one very likely desperately needs to find out some subjects to photograph, I spent almost every Saturday on shooting soft toys, and used them to practice home studio photography and editing. If you point your mouse over the picture, you will see there notes of the same image, and if you click on one of those note images, you will get some of the old monkey business pictures that I have uploaded here on Ipernity. With this picture I also participate to The Sunday Challenge of "advertisement posters". I used notes for deliberate annoyance. This is kind of a private joke of mine to illustrate how Web advertisements are nowadays "polluting" almost every Web site. All kinds of pop-up notices are flashing all over the page when we open one. So, this is kind of SPAM advertising my own photography.

3D shot

Try to look into distance, to get the images overlapped for the 3D effect. In case picture is too large (distance between images wider than the distance between your eyes), then scale down the image. Try 'Ctrl -' keys, which may work on some browsers ('Ctrl 0' to get back to normal size). Picture taken in 2010

Under the pine tree

This shot was one idea I had for the "ground level" challenge at The Sunday Challenge. This tree grows on top of the excavated hillside, and therefore part of the roots are literally aerial roots. I've been shooting at this place every now and then, just because it looks so strange: www.ipernity.com/doc/serola/34239797

She was a "rescue dog" ... Rescued from the dumpster in Spain, "imported" to Finland, and was very cautious towards strangers. She, definitely did not like anyone who "wobbles". Probably some drunken person had kicked her around when she was just a small dog. We became good friends, and learned each others ways to walk on this planet. I feel thankful and honored that I had a chance to walk with her for few years.
