Nice portrait.
She must be a very massive dog with a strong gravitational field. She's drawing everything on the other side of the frame toward her.

Wow Clara, you are a beauty! is she an escape artist Sami? looks like she is wearing a harness.

this is a wonderful shot, I love that she is looking off to the side! and seems to guarding the house.. I do hope you didn't kneel in any presents she has left for you!
Sami Serola has replied to Shuttering Yukon
Around here all pets must be kept leashed in the city area. When Clara got old, we started to use harness instead of collar to decrease the risk of hurting her neck.

And what comes to kneeling... I most certainly do try to avoid stepping on any sort of droppings =P But kneel I must at least once per day, to pick them up, which is also a must do according city regulations. So, no doo-doos should be left behind =D

It is a widely held opinion that dogs do not see our pictures as pictures, they being so "inferior" to us, but I have personally known dogs that would sit beside me, watching a nature or hunting show, and when the deer (or other animal) would walk out of the picture, the dog would get up and walk around to the back of the set, trying to find out where the deer had gone. Obviously, that dog knew what that picture was.

Sami Serola has replied to Der Wandersmann
Well, there are even made TV programs for cats. So, why not also for dogs =)

what a great place sami, is this your home?

a wonderful dog and a really good photograph of it too. well done!
Sami Serola has replied to Jon Smith
Thank you Jon =) This is a public park around an old hospital, now used as a school of some kind. It is a little further from the city center, and therefore this park is often pretty empty.

Ahh! Lovely shot Sami, Like how you've got the dog and the house and the dog looks so deep in thought.

Sami Serola has replied to Yvette Chew
Thank you Yvette =) I was lucky to get this shot taken. Usually Clara turns her head all the time, making it almost impossible to capture a decent shot.
