yes this interesting _ I always thought a fence was made of wood traditionally. I have just checked Wiki and it says .....A fence is a structure that encloses an area, typically outdoors, and is usually constructed from posts that are connected by boards, wire, rails or netting.[1] A fence differs from a wall in not having a solid foundation along its whole length

These rather ugly plastic temporary and movable construction site fences have become all too familiar view in Tampere. There's a tram railway built through the city, and for some reason numerous other building projects going on at the same time. Every day one had to wonder where to cross the main street because the building project change the place somewhat daily bases.
