looks to have some ice and the little plane also seems very cold ~ brrr ~ roll on spring

At least on Monday it was cold and bright Nick! Today is cold and a freezing fog!
My sentiment exactly....roll on spring ;-)

Beautiful light in the main image..........and wonderful reflections. I like that there is still quite a bit of colour in the trees as well. The ice on the water makes it look very cold.

The first PiP makes it look even colder with it's blue tones, I like the splash of golden colour from the leaves and the shape of that silhouetted tree.

The second PiP is lovely............the plane, with its coating of frost, looks beautiful against the out-of-focus background.

Great stuff Rosa..!!

The far end of the lake in my main picture was pleasingly colourful along the bank, which was very different to the other end.... It was a very cold day!

The beech hedge did give a welcome splash of colour against the icy water, and I just liked the plane, so I am pleased that you do too.

I'm good thanks Rosa but Pat has a long term health condition the symptoms of which get worse over the winter months, this year in particular has been bad for her. I find very little time for photography or ipernity at the moment, hopefully things will improve soon.

An absolutely gorgeous serie of images Rosa. I love the main image with those wonderful reflections, and the tree in the first PiP is a great shape. Oh no - ice on the wings of a plane is not good news!!!! A lovely find. The water looks quite icy, I like the distinct line of ice in the main shot It looks like you have had some sunshine. Send a little my way please !!!
