Yes, it's a greylag goose, Rosa. You have captured it very well in your image. I love the concentric circles and the jetty acting as a lead-in line lead-in line taking the eye towards the goose. Cheers, Joe

A delightful shot of this lovely greylag goose Rosa...........it looks splendid, in the act of preening itself. in the centre of the circle of ripples. The light on the water is beautiful.

The jetty adds some good foreground interest...........and directs the eye nicely to the goose!

I like the two PiPs as well............the "poppies" and "fungi" are very nicely made and quite realistic at first glance. In the first PiP it's good to see the water drops from the gooses beak and the bonus ducks.

I hadn't been to this garden centre for quite a while. They have always had the walk around the lake, but it has improved a lot....and also has a cafe now :-)
