Farm Shop at The Newt.

Lots of goodies in the Farm Shop at The Newt. Bread and cakes made there, meat from local suppliers, cider and soft drinks made on the premises as well as some from Germany and France and a huge variety of local cheeses. I particularly liked the pictures on the cans of Cornish pilchard fillets, but not so keen on the content!

Thank you very much. This was just a small section of the shop Jose Manuel. There was a fresh meat counter, fresh vegetables and if you look carefully at the back of the top picture, there are glass doors which lead to a cool room with huge cheeses. Unfortunately I don't like pilchards from a tin :)

Warm, welcoming atmosphere...and what a display of delicious food and drinks!
the pictures of the cans are so beautiful..I was tempted to buy some like these oneswhen in Portugal, but then...I realized I wouldn't have ever opened them! ;-)
