A corner after my own heart!
In fact it's what it's like for me now - surrounded by bookcase after bookcase (including a fair few of my own) at my parents house in Cornwall!!

Thank you, Rosa! Well it's been a total change of scene - from being the sick one of the family to being the fittest and being catapaulted into a carer type situation almost over night! But it's OK, just very tiring as I'm not really up to full strrngth yet and I have no time to myself. But as they say; 'we are where we are!'

I have always dreamed of creating a similar environment for myself with all the books I have read, unfortunately in vain ....
I like how the light from the table lamp creates a very intimate atmosphere in the room.

Oh, I wish I'd seen this before I drove home yesterday...........I'd have made a short detour into Dorchester and stopped for coffee. I'll definitely be visiting next time we drive down!

What a beautiful little corner...........a book-lovers dream. The lighting is perfect and I love the detail and warm colours you've captured. Looking at the first PiP, you'd never guess such a treat was waiting inside.

The second PiP is lovely...........and full of super detail and the autumn colours are coming along nicely.

Let me know when you next go that way Keith. We found it by accident, looking for a free parking place, and there were plenty of them a short distance away. It's not right in the town.

A fine interior shot here Rosa. I love the soft warm tones created by the colours of the books and the lovely soft light from the lamp, great light control on your part! I wish my bookcase were as tidy as this one! Quite a find you have made here Rosa, certainly worth a return visit.

I could sit here all day looking around this library corner Rosa with a nice cup of coffee and a biscuit to see which books they have in their collection, I would leave it at that of course because with the beautiful sunny weather I want more outside exploring the landscape and getting some fresh air Risa
hoping you did that too because it's not weather to sit inside yet

It would be nice o see you there Sonia! I want to return and also look around the area more.
There was a very nice looking church at the end of the path, so next time! We had been to the cinema, so a walk in the fresh air is good afterwards.

It is a very exciting composition, and so many books to look at I am sure there will be lots of philosophy, mathematics, and other good stuff. None of this modern day trashy novels....
We can just imagine sitting there all day having an intelligent conversation...!
