Birds!

Lovely minimalist composition, Rosa. The trees and the birds stand out well from the blue sky. Looks like a scene from a well known Hitchcock film. Cheers, Joe

The sky was too blue for Hitchcock Ulrich...now it there was thunder!!! :-0

I love these images Rosa................the silhouettes are pin-sharp against the lovely blue sky..!!

I really like the shape of the tree in the main image and you've placed it perfectly in the frame.

The 4 images in the PiP are just superb, besides the gorgeous silhouettes, the out-of focus sky and clouds is wonderful and the blue frame matches perfectly.

Great work..............and it's good to see we've both gone for silhouettes for today's photos!

With the blackbird images, I was at the computer when I saw the bird and it's a bay window, so I couldn't move quickly, but the camera was next to me, so just clicked and clicked!

These are so beautiful. The silhouettes against the blue. The shape of the tree is exquisite. My cotoneaster berries are disappearing as well.

Thank you Jean. I love to watch the birds eat the berries whilst sat at the computer. I was hoping for a robin, but the blackbird was very welcome.

Según como los pongas tú o lo hiciera Hitchcock, pueden parecer agradables o dar miedo.
Los 4 PiPs parecen mirlos, aunque no les oigo su trinar que endulza el oído; son agradables.
Los del árbol pienso que no son mirlos, pues no se juntan tantos. Esos parecen más estorninos pintos y un grajo.

They were mainly jackdaws José. More screeching than melodic tweeting unfortunately, but it was a lovely sight on a sunny Sunday :-))

Los mirlos tampoco ocupan esas alturas. Son grajos, aunque las cornejas son muy parecidas y posadas a distancia pueden confundirse; unos y otros enojan a los agricultores. Me alegro fuera un domingo soleado y tuvieras oportunidad de fotografiar, para nuestro regalo.

A lovely series of bird silhouettes, Rosa. You had very clear skies on that day.

A very nice picture, which reminded me of Hitchcock as soon as I saw it!!

Strangely, I went on a walk the other day, sat on a bench, and saw a tree full of birds.. (but these were small inoffensive birds...) But no camera.

You have made of wonderful capture here, and great detail in the PiPs.
