The yellow ones? That's what I thought, but they look so different than the ones that grew in our yard in Florida ! They couldn't tell time either ~

The marigolds are much bigger than the europeans ...

These Marigolds are quite tall - know there are some smaller in height ... that is what I would really like, but think the seeds I sowed will grow like these.
Years ago, when we lived in Florida, a friend asked if we wanted a pallet of Marigolds [ he knew we were re-doing part of the yard and needed a small plant ].
He gave us Marigolds [ which were not supposed to grow more than 6'' high] ..
They topped out at 12-18 inches! He came by and took a photo to show his relatives who owned the Garden center from where the Marigolds came.
Said when he showed them the photo, they couldn't believe it either !

Thank you ... North Carolina people are really nice - but - blunt - if you really don't want an answer to a question posed, don't ask.
They will give you an answer - might not be what you wanted, either ..
( had long experience with that ).....
