(This was one of those times when I forgot to check my settings before going out and wound up shooting in JPEG with auto ISO. I hate it when I do that! ;-)))

Trees just cry out for portrait format! I love your glorious winter photos, in our town we haven't seen icicles for ages...
Auto-ISO is annoying but it has turned out well. Shooting with high ISO in sunshine is worse, that has happened to me repeatedly when I forgot to change my settings;-)

I love all of your pictures!! Every one is just awesome. Your main image is creative with very interesting processing. The single icicle is AMAZING!!! The texture and details...WOOT! The row of icicles is just so menacing and neat to see, and the snow...light and shadow that is so lovely to see.

All in a vert orientation, all perfect. GREAT JOB!!! :)

It's funny but the main pic has only a little post-processing. I upped the contrast and shadows just a touch. I think it looks this way because it's a1600 ISO JPEG. I don't know what else it could be. :))

I really like this collection of snowy day photos.
That tree looks enormous! Is it in your garden?
Many years ago I visited California and up to Oregon, and I was lost for words at the size of the trees there.

Thank you, Peter. Yes, California and Oregon especially have some great old growth forests. Some are even hidden from the public, I've read.

These trees are actually right next to our house. The pov is making them look pretty huge but they are big. I just love having them here. They add so much to the property. I'm glad you enjoyed the series. :)
