Yes, against mosquitoes, moths, birds, squirrels, bats and anything else that might like to climb or fly in if the window is open. We live in the wilderness.

Beautiful photograph of fences in snow..
I can see the vertical lines to which Polytrops and Herb refer, but I offer no explanation or suggestion..!
(But let me say that I did try taking a photo of a nice picture showing on the computer monitor to see what it looked like)
