Photomatrix HDR. Photomatrix gives quite a variety of different HDR image choices, but I felt the artistic b/w looked more like what I was seeing when I took the photo.

Super work Norm - I would love to see this particular one in HDR colour as well, as it should work perfectly!

Thanks Paul! It's pretty much a black and white scene ... even in color.

HDR editing like this looks much like a pencil drawing.

I like the mono effect here. I bet the colours would have been garish in hdr.

A great mural, like your pov and the monochrome HDR processing works very well but I also would like to see the color version!

Thanks for adding the original - in this case I like the HDR much more and monochrome was the best choice, for my taste!

I think sometimes ... color can be a distraction in the image. It might have been different if the mural had been in color too!

Fabulous choice of shot and technique Norm. And I agree with what Sami says about this form of HDR having a sketch like feel to it ... very nice indeed! :)

quite heavy HDR, but along with the mono it really suits the mural and scene

Thanks! :-) I'm really not a fan of heavy HDR, but in this case ... I felt it was the best choice. I probably would have just done it in B/W otherwise.
