Yes, I'm as grateful for them in London as I was for traffic cones and orange vests in Toronto.

There is a charm in the sameness of the houses and the limited colour contrasting with the trees, the nest and the fireplug.

I love the fireplug detail enhancing the monotony of the houses in row, all alike. I always wondered if people sometimes dont try to enter the wrong house by mistake...

That has been a fairly common occurrence in the apartment buildings I've lived in, Xata.

Rather than dislike the houses for all looking the same, I find in this shot I think of them as "faces" peeping over the fence!

I like the placement of the fire hydrant...........the splash of yellow anchors the shot nicely and great to see some trees breaking the monotonous line of the fence.

At least they can peep, Keith. The houses across the street from me in Toronto had a backyard view of a 20' retaining wall.
