Thanks, Jaap. The plastic is good for photographic purposes, but no other as far as I'm conerned. I suppose it simplifies sales, though.

That really is a colourful eyeful. Imagine that plastic covering repeated over and over, everywhere you go. Is it any wonder we're choking on it.

Plastic does in fact seem to be everywhere, Jean. Among other things it promotes self-service, I guess.

A beautifully detailed and colourful shot John................but why, oh why do we need all that plastic? Completely unnecessary :-(

I suppose it reduces distribution costs in addition to promoting self-service and simplifying sales. We should all be like the Americans. One of the reasons Tesco is supposed to have failed in the States is that it sold packaged vegetables, which Americans won't buy.
