No shortage of fences in Toronto.

John FitzGerald club has replied to Jean
This entire site used to be a parking lot, Jean. There are almost none left, however, because of the relentless demand for condos. Construction sites everywhere. I imagine the remnant of the old parking lot will soon be dug up, too.

'Insane snake'?

John FitzGerald club has replied to Andy Rodker club
Thanks, Andy. I discovered there's a casual game called Insane Snake, but have no idea if that's what's being talked about here.

A plethora of fences John...................nicely seen, although as Jean has commented, Toronto does seem to have a surplus..!!

Like Andy, I'm left wondering what the "insane snake" graffiti means! HFF to you my friend and have a lovely weekend.

John FitzGerald club has replied to Keith Burton club
Thanks, Keith. Much of Toronto is still being a) torn down and replaced by bigger buildings or b) being converted from parking lots to high-rises, which is what's happening here.

As I mentioned to Andy, there's a casual game called Insane Snake, but who knows if that's relevant here?

Now you'll have me check out the "casual game called Insane Snake." Very snaky.
But what first caught my eye was the odd way the girl seems to be walking. Evidently she didn't see the "Step Up" sign.

John FitzGerald club has replied to Sarah P. club
I think maybe she's moving to her right, Sarah. In Toronto people pedestrians get out of other pedestrians' way about 30 yd. in advance.

Very good contraste with the walking girls and her surroundings.
The idea of "déplacement" enlightens the fence.

Thanks, José. I just realized the walking woman is a Canadian theme, thanks to Michael Snow:

The girl caught my eye straight away too. Practicing to join the Ministry of Silly Walks?
HFF John.

John FitzGerald club has replied to MaggsMep club
Thanks, Maggs, and a happy next Fence Friday to you. As I mentioned to Sarah, she may be moving to her right to accommodate a pedestrian 30 yd. or so ahead of hrer (the custom in Toronto -- often an infuriating one, too).
