Cape Disappointment North Head lighthouse (#1208)
A rather spooky wooden water tower somewhat hidden, near the lighthouse keepers housing area . There were no signs describing it but since it wasn't fenced, I'm guessing that it is not in use. Note that due to changes in forestry on the cape, this would have been in the open when it was built.

It's hard to process sometimes how quickly a forest can grow. Most of the forests I've wandering in the East were open space when my parents were young.
