Yuma Wetlands (#0869)

Restoration of the wetlands of the Colorado River, just north of downtown Yuma (see also adjacent picture). I was impressed at the efforts in the greater Yuma area to do at least some reparation for the damages to natural processes that have occurred (see later pictures). Note that this picture is taken from the California side of the Colorado, just across the river from Yuma.
